Transport strike

A 24-hour transport strike to regulate the pension age at 66 years old, instead of changing it according to life expectancy, will be carried out by Dutch labour unions on May 28 in The Netherlands, reports I Am Expat.

This strike will affect NS trains and public transport in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague. Regional transport employees are also considering joining the strike.

Travellers are advised to include additional travel time on the day to avoid delays.
