Flood risks 


The Government of Malawi has declared a state of emergency due to severe flooding in the south, affecting thirteen districts, reports US Embassy.
  
The flooding will occur in Dedza, Balaka, Machinga, Zomba, Neno, Blantyre, Chiradzulu, Mulanje, Phalombe, Mwanza, Chikwawa, Thyolo and Nsanje.

Travellers are advised to find an alternate route or delay their travel until conditions are favourable.
