UPDATE: Ryanair January strikes cancelled

RYANAIR cabin crew have scrapped their remaining two spates of strike action scheduled for January, in a move which will come as a relief to passengers travelling across Europe this month, says Express UK.

Cabin crew working for the budget airline in Spain had agreed to walk out on January 8, 10 and 13 of the month, with all now postponed.

The walkouts had been called by the two unions, USO and SITCPLA which claimed Ryanair was "refusing to abide by the Spanish constitution" and provide work contracts according to the Spanish law.

Unions USO and SITCPLA in Spain claim the remaining two strike days, penned in for yesterday and Sunday, were cancelled following "an agreement reached in the early hours of the morning.”
