BA opens second new lounge

A new British Airways lounge has opened as part of a recently completed extension at Aberdeen airport, reports Travel Weekly.

Using a new design concept, it becomes the second in a new series of lounges following an opening at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport.

BA has created zones throughout the 380sqm lounge in Aberdeen to suit the needs of all passengers, including seating overlooking the runway and a granite-topped bar.

BA’s New York JFK Terminal 7 will be the next lounge to open under the new design concept, with improvements being made to check-in.

The airline also plans further investment at Geneva, San Francisco, Johannesburg, Chicago and its lounges at Heathrow.
