XL Travel confirms new roll-outs in pipeline

THE XL Travel Group is heavily committed to the adoption of relevant technology that will enhance workflow and productivity on the travel agency side, ultimately promoting efficiency and cost savings on the customer’s side. 

Franz Von Wielligh, head of Innovation & Member Relations at XL Travel, also confirms that new roll-outs are in the pipeline, but he can’t elaborate yet as they are not finalised.

Currently available to XL Travel members, as an example of existing solutions, is the booking suite, Travolution, powered by Welltravel, offering agents a platform with aggregated booking features as well as direct access to airlines, hotels and cruises.

“The main aim of this platform is to enhance an agency’s workflow and integrate NDC content as well as any other aggregator we choose, so as to display all results in a single result.”

There are four pillars of the platform, namely an agent platform, online booking tool (for corporates), leisure online booking tool and mobile.

The XLGO mobile app – and soon-to-be-released XLGO connect for Amadeus users – helps increase customer retention, he says.
