Marriott introduces dynamic loyalty pricing

From September 14, Marriot’s Bonvoy loyalty programme will move to a dynamic pricing model.
In peak season or when a hotel is otherwise busy, members will pay 14-33% more for an award night. In off-peak season or when hotel traffic is light, members will get discounts in the equivalent amount.
The programme prices hotels across eight categories. In category one, a standard rate is 7 500 points. From September 14, the off-peak rate will be 5 000 points and the peak rate will be 10 000 points.
