Hyatt announces new China hotel brand

Hyatt has unveiled a new hospitality brand called UrCove.

As part of Hyatt’s partnership with BTG Homeinns Hotel Group, the brand, pronounced ‘your cove,’ has been built specifically to meet Chinese travellers’ preferences in the upper-midscale market. The hotels will offer business space and amenities to allow travellers to manage work tasks while exploring their host city and will also offer group or business dinner options.

UrCove hotels will cater for ‘road warriors’ who often seek out efficiency and comfort but are limited in opportunities to get the best out of their travel, according to Hyatt.

The first two UrCove hotels are expected to open in Shanghai and Beijing by late 2020.
