Hyatt brand signs Paris hotel

Following a complete renovation, the Hôtel du Louvre has joined The Unbound Collection by Hyatt.

Originally opened in 1855 as Paris’s first grand hotel, the property has 106 rooms and 58 suites, some of which have balconies with views of the Avenue de L’Opéra, Comédie-Française and the Louvre Museum.

The Brasserie du Louvre serves traditional French cuisine and the bar serves herbal-based cocktails celebrating Napoleon III’s love of botany.

The hotel features a 24-hour fitness centre and eight meeting rooms, each decorated with a different theme around famous personalities who have shaped the hotel’s history. They range in size from 19-137 sqm and are all equipped with conferencing technology.
