British Airways has unveiled its new business-class seat product, which will be fitted on the first of its A350 aircraft in July.
The airline’s newly branded Club Suite offers direct-aisle access, a door for privacy and flat-bed seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. The Club Suite has 40% more storage, a vanity unit and mirror, WiFi, 47cm entertainment screen and PC/USB power points.
The three-cabin A350 will feature the latest World Traveller Plus cabin (56 seats) with new furnishings, new amenity kits, enhanced service and an improved dining service. The world Traveller economy cabin offers 219 seats.
The A350 will begin long-haul flights from October 1, with another three joining the British Airways fleet. Two Boeing 777 aircraft will be retrofitted with the Club Suite during this period.
In 2020 British Airways will roll out its Club Suite on further long-haul aircraft across its network.
