New BA First experience

British Airways is set to boost its product and service offering in its First cabins as part of a £6.5bn (R122bn) investment project.

From March 31, First customers will receive new loungewear and amenity kits that feature a variety of skincare products.

Customers will also receive new 400-thread count bedding, accompanied by a foam fibre mattress topper, day blanket and cushion.

The new menus will focus on fresh seasonal ingredients of British origin, and will be served on bone china crockery along with new cutlery and glassware.

A signature afternoon tea service will also be added to the new experience.  This menu will include a selection sandwiches, pastries and scones, as well as a wide range of tea infusions.

Passengers will also receive high-performance headphones and 1 000 hours of programmes on the in-flight entertainment channels.
