Avis Budget platform targets travel buyers

The Avis Budget Group has a new online portal designed specifically for corporate travel managers.
The portal, called Business Intelligence (BI), provides travel managers with insight into their programme’s performance, using rental summary dashboards, rich visualisations, and reports.
The solution is currently only available in North America, with a roll-out into the EMEA region expected later in the year.
“The interactive portal includes closed and open rental transactions, pending reservations, environmental sustainability, membership data, mobile app utilisations and more,” the company said in a statement. “The portal offers a ‘Build Your Own’ report capability to fully customise a report with KPIs that are unique to their individual business needs, such as the length of rental, upcoming reservations and vehicle class reserved, driven and charged.”
Travel managers will also gain access to a full library of reports that are customisable by either traveller or by rental. According to the company, this will make it easier for users to manage corporate travel expenses and traveller compliance. Reports can be customised to be delivered weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, saving the time and resources that have previously been spent on manually compiling these types of reports.
