Eurowings moves terminals at Munich

Eurowings will move to Area A of Munich Airport’s Terminal 1 later this year, with check-in for all flights expected to relocate by June.

The move means shorter distances for passengers, and will allow for the use of all Eurowings service facilities from one interconnected area. The new check-in desks and security checkpoint will be a few steps from the terminal building entrance, while a shuttle connection will be available between terminals for transfer passengers.

The move will help balance the use of capacity at the airport, easing strain on Terminal 2’s infrastructure by over two million passengers.
