France/Germany/Denmark: Thunderstorms to follow extreme heat

Extreme heat and severe thunderstorms can be expected this week from France into Germany and southern Scandinavia, according to AccuWeather.
The heat will last for another day in western Europe, with temperatures reaching 32C in Amsterdam, 34C in Brussels, and 36C in Paris.
Areas from Paris to Amsterdam will see severe thunderstorms from Wednesday (April 8), which may cause flash floods, damaging winds, and hail.
Temperatures will remain high in eastern France and Germany, ranging between 30-36C on Wednesday. Thunderstorms should develop tomorrow and Thursday, with Lyon, Frankfurt, Berlin, and Copenhagen at risk of flash flooding, winds, and hail.
Travel may be affected as a result.
Cooler air is expected to bring an end to the heatwave across central Europe by Friday.
