UK: Disruption to Oxford Station rail services
9 Jul 2018 - by
Services in and out of Oxford Station have stopped due to maintenance work, according to the BBC.
Engineers are replacing track and signalling cables, which will allow for faster travel and a new half-hourly London Marylebone to Oxford service.
Network Rail said that work has been planned carefully to minimise passenger disruption. Great Western Railway said it would operate replacement buses between Oxford and Didcot Parkway, and a limited service between July 16 and 20.
Services will be affected until July 23.
