South Africa: Paul Kruger Gate inaccessible due to protests

Guests of the Kruger National Park (KNP) have been informed that Paul Kruger Gate is inaccessible due to protests taking place at communities outside the gate, approximately 20 kilometres away from the Park, on the R536 today (June 28), and is currently blocked.

Guests are advised to use alternative gates for the interim, such as Phabeni, which is about 10 kilometres away from Hazyview on the R536, in order to enter or exit KNP until further notice.

South African National Parks (SANParks) has advised that the situation is being monitored closely.
