Zimbabwe’s new airline to take off soon

Zimbabwe’s new airline, Sol Air, is expected to take-off in September this year, first with domestic, and then regional flights.

 Nkosilathi Sibanda, md of Sol Air said the airline will start with a fleet of five aircraft: two Boeing 777-300s and three Boeing 737-800s.Sol Air is also acquiring two 30-seater turbo-prop small aircraft to serve routes like Kariba, Buffalo Range, Lusaka and Tete. The airline is however yet to sign for the South Africa-based aircraft.
