aha Alpine Heath Resort
This stylish four-star resort in the heart of the Drakensberg between Johannesburg and Durban not only offers fresh mountain air but also breathtaking views of the mountains.
Surrounded by crystal-clear streams, it is a great venue to consider if you want to do business in the great outdoors. The award-winning prestigious venue is one of the country’s premier family holiday and conference venues.
A variety of conference facilities are available where packages can be tailor-made to suit specific requirements and budgets. A standard package consists of accommodation, three meals and two coffee/tea breaks for delegates. Standard technical equipment is available with venue hire as well as complimentary WiFi.
The largest venue at the resort can host up to 200 delegates. This can be divided into two separate areas – all with the mountains as a backdrop. In addition, six other conference rooms are available.
Ghost Mountain Inn

Situated in Umtentweni near the bustling town of Port Shepstone, beachside conferencing takes on new meaning at this venue.
This uniquely upmarket hotel does not only offer stunning sea views, but a variety of conferencing space, including a boardroom for meetings and several breakaway rooms.
It can easily accommodate up to 120 delegates in its biggest conference venue. Standard conferencing equipment is available as is secure, business grade WiFi.

aha Imperial Hotel
Nestled in the heart of Pietermaritzburg, this hotel is conveniently located, offering easy access to all the important government offices, not to mention convenient access to the airport.
Boasting historic ambience and prestige, the hotel offers old-world charm at its best. With eight conference venues, the venue easily accommodates from two to 300 delegates, depending on requirements.

In the leafy suburb of Meerensee in Richards Bay is the 66-bedroom Indaba Lodge.
The hotel features a modern executive boardroom for meetings and business events, while a conference venue with capacity of up to 50 delegates is also available.
Venues include complimentary WiFi, are fully air-conditioned, with conference packages including a selection of delicious snacks, lunch in the restaurant, refreshments and standard conference supplies.
An experienced team of staff are on hand to assist with arrangements. The venue recently added a spa to its offering as well as six well-appointed self-catering apartments.
Delegates wanting to relive the excitement and romance of the days of King Shaka, the great Zulu king and conqueror, need look no further than Shakaland.
Situated only 160km north of Durban, this hotel is best described as a living monument to traditional Zulu culture. Here, delegates can experience the rhythm of Africa in an authentic recreation of the Great Kraal overlooking Phobane Lake. From assegai-wielding warriors to the fascinating secrets of the sangomas, traditional customs such as tribal dancing, spear-making and beer-drinking ceremonies are showcased.
The hotel has a modern, well-equipped conference room, which can accommodate from 50 to 100 delegates. The different seating arrangements have capacity for 70 delegates in boardroom style, 100 in cinema, 50 in U-shaped seating, 80 for banquets, 75 in schoolroom seating and 30 for cocktail events.
