United Kingdom: Fresh rail strikes announced
19 May 2017 - by Staff reporter
Employees at three rail companies are to stage strikes in the UK later this month, BBC reports.
Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) members at Southern Railway, Merseyrail and Northern (Arriva Rail North) will walk out on May 30.
The 24-hour strike is the latest in a dispute over staffing and plans to introduce new driver-operated-only trains.
